NBA Veteran Felipe Lopez & HSBCAMPS Return To Central Oregon Monday July 16, 2012!

A familiar face will be in attendance next week when HSBCAMPS returns to Bend, Oregon. Just announced, America’s fastest growing youth basketball initiative has made public that NBA veteran and international sensation Felipe Lopez will return to Central Oregon for the groups annual summer camp in Bend. Lopez, who has spent much of the last several years as an integral piece of NBA CARES, joined HSB two years ago and has been a staple ever since. “His animated coaching style and true love for the game has spread like wild fire amongst our coaches and even our participants, and we are truly excited to have him back in Central Oregon with us,” shared HSBCAMPS Founder Carson Sofro. “Felipe joined us two years ago in Bend and I know I speak for all of our campers when I say that he has truly been missed.” Lopez and HSB will host a three day camp at Mountain View High School in Bend, July 16-18, 2012 for grades K-12 and space is still available. About Carson Sofro

"I started this program with one simple goal in mind. To create opportunities for young basketball players that weren't available to me as an up and coming player. Camps were hundreds of miles away, the expenses were great, and I always felt lost amongst the crowds. The one-on-one instructional atmosphere that has been created at HSBCAMPS is a unique philosophy that has allowed our staff members to connect and develop every participant regardless of their age or ability. We started something very special back in 2007 and I hope to someday take this program all over the country and perhaps the world."
