Professional Ball Player JR Harrison On HSB Academy

For three weeks this summer, HSB Academy has played host to a handful of current and former pro players looking to “Elevate Their Game.”  Recently, Houston native and professional ball player JR Harrison, made the trek from Texas to Idaho to partake in all the Academy has to offer.  Here’s what he had to say:

“Just spent three days training with HSB academy in Boise, Idaho.  I’ve trained there before during the summer and I enjoyed the workouts so much,  I decided to make the trip back.  Being a professional basketball player, I’ve been through dozens of various workouts, from two a days in Europe all the way to the NBA.  I have to say, the training at HSB Academy is up there with the best of them.  The combination of real live game action and situational training they incorporate into every workout is amazing. It’s like playing in a real game.  You transition from defense to offense and back to defense in the course of each drill sequence. It’s great!! I couldn’t think of a better more efficient way to spend an hour on the court working out.  I will definitely be back.”

About Carson Sofro

"I started this program with one simple goal in mind. To create opportunities for young basketball players that weren't available to me as an up and coming player. Camps were hundreds of miles away, the expenses were great, and I always felt lost amongst the crowds. The one-on-one instructional atmosphere that has been created at HSBCAMPS is a unique philosophy that has allowed our staff members to connect and develop every participant regardless of their age or ability. We started something very special back in 2007 and I hope to someday take this program all over the country and perhaps the world."
