As we transition back into the busiest time of the year, this is a friendly reminder that everyone should now be utilizing the HSB Academy App. Our all new mobile solution allows users to easily book and purchase classes, sign up for private sessions, track and cancel visits, as well as sign up for our upcoming Holiday Camps. With up-to-date scheduling and cancellations notices, this recent addition is quickly becoming the #1 place for everything HSB Academy. Some other important things to note:
1.) CHECK THE SCHEDULE – All class cancellations or changes will be posted to the schedule on the app. If you are pre-registered in a class that is cancelled you will be emailed or sent a text message notifying you of the change. Apologies in advance for any and all inconveniences.
2.) PRE-REGISTER FOR CLASSES – Many of you have noticed sessions are beginning to fill up and class numbers will be strictly limited to maintain quality. If you show up to a class that is full without signing up, you will not be able to participate. Additionally make sure that you are signing up for the right location. Some classes meet at the same time but in different locations. Locations of the classes can be found on the final page of booking.
3.) CAMPS VS. ACADEMY – Although our camps and academy use the same software platform (MindBody), each one operates within a different database. You can use the same email and password for both, however, you will have to re-create your account in the second system in order to sign up. If you get an error message trying to log in to one or the other, log out completely and then try logging in to the desired database again. To simplify things, the Thanksgiving Camp and Christmas Camp (coming soon) have been added to the academy side under the “Holiday Camps” tab. You can register for both directly through the HSB Academy app.
4.) GIVE US A HEADS UP – You, the parents and players, are our largest marketing resource and we appreciate all the referrals. That being said, if you would like to bring a friend please make sure you do so appropriately. Everyone participating in the academy that is a minor must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver. This can be completed via the app and trial sessions can be booked through the app as well. If you bring someone to a full class or without a signed waiver they will not be allowed to participate.
5.) SESSION USAGE & EXPIRATION – From the beginning our policy has always been the same. Sessions are good for one year from the date of purchase. This is to ensure that people are using their sessions and taking advantage of the training we provide. We understand that injuries and issues do happen and they will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Other notes: everyone that is training in the academy needs to have their own package i.e. sharing packages is not permitted. If you pre-register for a class and you are unable to attend, let us know. No-shows will go against your packages.
6.) IF YOU ARE SICK, STAY HOME – We love having all of you in class but please stay home if you are not feeling well. We have a lot of kids that attend sessions and for everyone’s safety we would appreciate it if everyone could abide by this rule.
