International superstar and decorated NBA veteran Mike Harris is coming to camp. Not training camp . . . summer camp. The 6’6”, 240-pounder announced late last week via social media, he will be re-joining HSBCAMPS summer staff for 2018. The Hillsboro, Texas native is expected to coach at all of HSB’s upcoming Treasure Valley sessions in June, including the 5-On-5 Draft Camp June 4th – 6th, 2018 at Meridian’s Home-court.
Rice University’s most outstanding player of all time, the former Milwaukee Buck, Washington Wizard, Houston Rocket, and Utah Jazz standout has enjoyed a storied professional career that has literally taken him all over the globe. Harris’s accolades and accomplishment include multiple MVP and championship trophies in the NBA’s D-League, China’s CBA, and Puerto Rico’s BSN. A father, mentor and all around amazing human being, this will be Mike’s 4th trip to Boise to coach and his presence will be one that will not go unnoticed.
Following the Draft Camp in early June, Harris will attend the Centennial (June 7th – 9th) and Capital High School sessions (June 18th-20th & June 25th-29th), as well as the 3rd Annual Girls Team Camp up in McCall (June 21st – 23rd).
“I am so incredibly excited to be back in Boise and on the court with the kids,” shared Harris. “I love these camps and cherish all opportunities to give back to the game that has given so much to me.”
