NBA Sized Dream Becomes Reality In Meridian

Axiom & HSB Academy Team Up For World Class Hoops Facility

It’s been a five year journey, full of hard work, plenty of sacrifice and a whole lot of believing, but last Friday former hoop standout Carson Sofro took to social media to share the news.  The Co-Founder and Director of one of the countries fastest growing youth basketball initiatives announced via Instagram his NBA sized dream of opening a world class training and competition venue in Idaho’s Treasure Valley had finally become a reality.  Posting a full sized color rendering of the facilities brand new center court, Sofro revealed renovations on the 7,500 square foot space are well underway with operations scheduled to begin in early October of this year.

“We are beyond excited about the opportunities this partnership will provide not only for our kids but for the local community,” shared Sofro.  “Axiom and its management team really stepped up and made this whole thing possible.”

Capable of accommodating indoor athletic training, camps, leagues, as well as tournaments, HSB Academy Court as it has been called will fill a unique void throughout the valley, while also making a significant financial impact on the local and regional economy.

A place to play, learn and grow, HSB Academy Court will be the official home of HSBCAMPS, HSB Academy, and the all new TV80, the Treasure Valley’s only premier youth basketball league.  Additionally rental space has been made available to outside groups with much of it already spoken for on multi-year leases.

Facility features include a full sized NBA stadium court with shot clocks, two middle school sized practice courts and some of the industries top coaches and instructors.  With an attached fitness center, high end locker rooms and other available amenities, the overall complex has already become an attractive destination for groups not only throughout the country but around the world.

“We have been getting calls and inquiries from literally all over the world,” added Sofro.  “Professionally affiliated organizations all the way to clubs and youth teams from Asia and Central America.  The response has been truly remarkable.”

Beyond Axiom, HSB Academy and its team would like to acknowledge the following corporate sponsors who have stepped up to answer the call.  Those include bodybuilding.com, Gyro Shack, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, PC Maintenance, Goodwood BBQ, Powerade, Swire Coca-Cola, Terra West, A Higher Plane, and McAlvain Construction.

All information and media inquiry requests should be directed to info@hsbacademy.com or Mary Fleming at 208-513-3027.

HSB Academy & Axiom Fitness Partner For Second Boise Location

Youth Basketball Training Begins This Monday At Fairview Location

Axiom Fitness and HSB Academy are at it again.  The Treasure Valley’s premier fitness outfit and the states first year round basketball training academy, have announced their second partnership in less than a year.  Feeding off the growth and success of ongoing weekly training in Meridian, HSB Academy will now offer two weekly sessions starting Monday September 10, 2012 at the Axiom’s Fairview location in Boise.

Built upon the foundations that anything is possible through hard work, sacrifice and belief in ones self, HSB Academy is committed to the development of the young student athlete.  Since October of last year, the group has provided hundreds of athletes from around the country a world-class basketball training curriculum essential to succeeding at the next level.  Offering services for those just being introduced to the game all the way to players of NBA stature, HSB Academy has something for everyone.

“We have been so fortunate to find a partner as committed to the development of young people as we are,” shared Academy Director Carson Sofro.  “Axiom Fitness has provided us an amazing facility and outstanding opportunity to continue to expand our programs to all those wishing to attend.”

New co-ed training sessions at Fairview will be offered Monday’s and Wednesday’s on a weekly basis from 3:45pm-4:45pm for players in the 7th – 12th grade. Training for those in grades 1st – 12th is offered Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in Meridian from 3:45pm – 5:45pm.  For more information, pricing, or to register please visit www.hsbacademy.com or contact 208-720-1904.  Availability is extremely limited for this new location with only the first 10 registrations being admitted into the program.

And Then There Were 4 – HSB Academy Announces Fourth Treasure Valley Training Location

HSB Academy will open its September training run with a bang!  September 4th will mark a return to the Idaho Athletic Club in Nampa.  In addition, HSB is proud to announce that it will be opening its fourth Treasure Valley location on Monday September 10, 2012.  Joining forces again with Axiom Fitness, Idaho’s first year round basketball training Academy will hold Monday and Wednesday training sessions for high school players at Axiom’s Fairview location.

“We are incredibly blessed to have experienced such great success in our first year of operations,” shared Carson Sofro, HSB Academy’s Director.  “We have more than 300 players training in our Academy state wide and this move was integral to continuing to provide small group instruction to all those looking to elevate their game in our programs.”

HSB Academy is the second in a series of ventures Sofro and his staff of professional and collegiate players and coaches have started in less than five years.  Following in the footsteps of HSBCAMPS, the countries fastest growing youth basketball program, the Academy has quickly risen to a status of power not only in Idaho’s Treasure Valley, but amongst the elite basketball training programs in the country.

For three weeks this summer, HSB Academy has been home not only to young men and women looking to improve their skills, but to those of NBA stature.  NBA player and former Houston Rockets Forward Mike Harris, is the latest in a series of pros that have traveled to Boise to partake in daily Academy sessions.

“This training is on a different level than almost anything I’ve ever experienced,” explained Harris.  “The combination of conditioning, skill work, and mental toughness, pushes players to their limits and I always look forward to the getting to push myself every opportunity I get.”

Obviously generating a lot of buzz, Boise’s HSB Academy is a must for all levels of basketball players looking to advance their game both on and off the court.

HSB Academy Partners With Axiom Fitness For Second Boise Location

Ninety days, a handful of locations, and more than two hundred enrollments, have lead to the rise of Idaho’s first year round youth basketball training Academy. A spin off of HSBCAMPS, America’s fastest growing youth summer program, Academy leadership announced late last week that the group has partnered with Axiom Fitness of Meridian, expanding operations into Boise’s west side. “Like all of our programs, our focus has been educating, mentoring, and encouraging an up and coming generation of young student athletes both on and off the court,” shared Academy Director Carson Sofro. “We have and continue to develop well rounded athletes and more confident young men and women. We will use this partnership with Axiom to continue that tradition throughout the Treasure Valley.”

Axiom Fitness joins a growing list of facilities already hosting HSB Academy sessions statewide. Built upon the foundations that anything is possible through Hard Work, Sacrifice, and the Belief in one’s self, HSB Academy offers professional training with an affordable price tag, truly bringing kids of all ages face-to-face with the pros. Training every Tuesday and Thursday at the new Meridian location, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
