What a year, and what a journey!  This is always my toughest post to write and perhaps the one I put off the most, as it signifies that another summer has come to an end.   Nearly 13,000 miles have been traveled, 900 athletes have been trained, and new friends have been made for life.  We are blessed to have been able to work with each and every one of you, and I thank you for your hard work, sacrifice, and belief that anything is possible.

Although 2011 marked our biggest year thus far, the memories I will take away are more than just numbers.  I will remember the young man in Bellevue who overcame the difficulties of shooting on a 10’ hoop, or the young ladies in Twin Falls who pushed themselves to their breaking point.  There was the nine year old in Dallas who mastered one of our toughest ball handling drills in just a few days, and the kids in Hailey, who fought sweat and tears determined to not give up.  These are just a few of the memories that will stay with me forever.

To the parents, players, and supporters, I cannot thank you enough for becoming a part of our family and joining us on this journey.   I know I speak for the entire coaching staff when I say; “I hope we have impacted your lives as much as you have impacted ours.  You are more than just players, you are developing young men and women, and we are so proud to call you family”.  Until next year, keep pushing, stay focused, and never give up.

Sincerely,

Carson Sofro – Camp Director
